Tufts College:
Graduates in Wartime

Anchor logo

During World War II, students who enlisted into the United States military served their country in a variety of capacities. Some fought in the Atlantic Theatre, while others in the Pacific, some under the water, while others above. No matter what their position in the military, they were all greatly changed by their wartime experiences. While some sadly did not come home, many of them returned to the Tufts College campus to finish their schooling, going onto both professional and military careers.

You may read an overview of Tufts students as Naval Officers.
