University records collections are the administrative records of Tufts University. They are organized by office, department, or program and document the history and activities of the institution. Materials include minutes, reports, correspondence, maps, photographs, audio-visual materials, and other documents.
Collections are grouped by administrative office and academic department or program. Collection titles that appear as links connect users to finding aids available through the Tufts Digital Library search engine. Collections that are not linked do not have finding aids. These collections combine records from an entire unit of the University. Materials came from multiple offices within a school or college. The majority of these legacy collections were created and maintained by Russell Miller University Historian and author of Light on the Hill, a two volume history of Tufts (1966, 1986).
